| Katherine Noyes creates sophisticated tops and dresses for women using the finest fabrics and expert sewers in San Francisco, California. She finds inspiration in many elements including beautiful fabrics, intricate details, timeless glamour and an overall simplistic elegance in form and silhouette. Originally developed as a ready-to-wear collection, Katherine quickly expanded to include custom and bridal apparel to meet the demands of women on the hunt for their dream dresses. A client can combine a wish-list of details into one custom-made gown while receiving design and fit guidance along the way. Fabrics, colors, silhouettes and details are carefully selected and each dress is custom-tailored to the client's size and needs. Each party is actively involved throughout the process and can see the dress progress along each phase from concept to finished product. Or maybe you bought a dress off-the-rack that needs a little "something?" Katherine can help you tailor the dress, add beadwork, or create a veil or clutch to match. Katherine has an extensive background in the fashion industry having worked in various roles of design, product development and production for such companies as Kay Unger N.Y., Calvin Klein Jeans, Old Navy, Gap brand and Circa Corporation in New York and San Francisco. Combining all that she has learned in the corporate fashion world with small-scale local production, the label "Katherine Noyes" launched in September 2005. |
